"The Heart of Astoria"

At Artbygeneblackburn, the latest project, "The Heart of Astoria," beautifully captures the vibrant purples and oranges of a sunset sky above the Megler Bridge in Astoria, Oregon, while bringing the foreground foliage to life through a painting inspired by a photograph. This piece reflects Gene Blackburn’s dedication to portraying natural light and atmosphere, offering viewers a vivid glimpse into the serene beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
